the list

Since Brian and I have received his orders, we have been thinking about a list of things we would like... this list has been in our minds for a while but now we are seriously considering a few purchases.  However, the question is what do we splurge on now and what do we wait to get later.  Here's the list:

1. New Camera: This was the first purchase Brian wanted to make after he got his orders.  We would like a professional camera.  And it would come in handy with all the places we will be going to with the Air Force and if you know me, I love pictures!

2. Couch: Now we have a couch that we found off of Craig's List, however, it has a purplish tint which is not my favorite.  I would love to move into our new house with a beautiful, new couch! Plus, it doesn't look like we would have much of a selection in Wichita Falls.  We could purchase it here in Arizona and then the movers would move it for us.

3. New-to-us Car: As of right now, Brian and I have the Blazer and his motorcycle which has worked very nicely for us thus far.  However, if I start picking up a lot of sub jobs and we get into the rainy season, Brian will be wanting a car so he doesn't get drenched! But I'm thinking we could wait just a little bit on this item.

4. Washer & Dryer: Now we are unsure whether or not our house will come with these items and we will hopefully find out next week but these would be a necessary item.  Do we buy them here or in Wichita Falls?

5. New Set of Towels: Ha, this is for me and I think we could definitely afford this item.  Because we lived in an apartment at the beginning of our marriage and I wasn't sure what color I wanted to decorate our bathroom with, I never bought a new set of bath towels.  I'm thinking a lighter blue... and I will be going to Costco before I leave Arizona to make this purchase.

Those are the items we have been debating between and wondering what to buy now and what we can do without for a while.
