Late Night Bike Ride

In the spring, Brian flew up to Washington and brought a small moving truck down with things of his and that people decided to give us as we began to set up our apartment.  In the move, he brought down two road bikes with the skinny tires and shifting levers that are in the middle of the handle bars.  Since the time, I have road the bike but always detested my bike because of that fact and also because the frame was way too tall for me!

However, yesterday proved to be memorable because of these bikes! Auntie and Uncle rode up on there bikes last night and invited us on a late night bike ride.  As soon as we got outside, it was sprinkling.  Hoping to beat the odds, we decided to go on the bike ride anyway.  We rode a few blocks and soon the rain was coming in huge, fat drops making it hard to see.  Oh, Arizona rain.  Thankfully the rain quickly abated because it was indeed Arizona rain, which doesn't usually last long.  The rest of the bike ride was very nice, the rain had cooled everything down and we quickly dried. The green belts are very fun to ride through and it was nice to go on a ride.
