Well, Brian and I just made the move to Arizona last weekend! We have been in transition for a while, waiting for the Air Force to deliver Brian's orders, thus, we decided it would be nice to spend some time with family before we head to Texas. We are living with my sister and loving our family time! As soon as my fingerprints are processed in the state of Arizona, I will be subbing. It is the craziest thing trying to decide on a job to do when you know it can only be temporary. While I couldn't commit to a whole school year, I am thankful that teaching allows the position of a sub because I can manage my schedule day to day while we wait for the orders. And if any long term sub positions open up, I would be able to commit to that because they only range about 6 weeks. I'm thankful for this blessing.
I'm also thankful that the next move we will make, the Air Force will pack it all up for us! It was a ton of work loading everything up into the moving truck. There is no way we could have done it without all of our wonderful friends! We are truly blessed. And we are thankful for family too that could all help us unload the truck and organize all of our belongings. A move takes a village!
Since we have been in Arizona, we have been fully immersed in wedding planning for my sister, Lyndi, and all the goings on of my family. My family has made our waiting period a worthwhile time!
We were more than happy to help you pack up, we're just sad that you guys had to move :( Enjoy AZ for now, let me know when you move on to TX.
