I have survived my first year of teaching! I cannot believe a whole school year has gone by... it flew by! I feel so blessed to have my job this year with an amazing class and wonderful staff. God completely blessed me! It's hard to accept that Brian and I will be moving away to Texas in the fall. Yes, I'm excited for the adventure and living in a new place, but I'm sad to pick my career up that has just started and try to make my way somewhere else. So, I begin yet again the search for a job. Thankfully, God is always in control and he has something in store for me. AND I have my husband with me as we begin another new phase of our lives.
On another note, Brian and I are on our first vacation together (besides our honeymoon). We flew up last weekend for a wedding in Washington and now we are visiting his family and some of mine. Can I say how wonderful it is to have trees on both sides of me as we drive down the road? I miss the beauty of the Northwest but it has been a joy to live in California for the past 4 years. On Friday, we drive down to central Oregon to visit my cousin as he gets married. Lots of weddings for us this year! Then, we will fly back to California. I have enjoyed all of the sights to see, places to visit, and just relaxing.
